This is a very exciting new opportunity to join enfinium and the Kelvin team at its infancy throughout the end of construction and see the site through commissioning and into being an operational EfW.
As you will be joining the team prior to the site being operational this gives you a unique advantage to build your own team and help shape the culture of the future workforce.
Kelvin is an energy from waste facility in Sandwell West Midlands in construction, which was granted planning consent in September 2019 and acquired from developer Verus Energy in 2021. When operational, it will divert 395,000 tonnes of non-recyclable household and business waste from landfill or export overseas. Instead, it will use residual waste to generate 44MW (gross) of renewable baseload energy per annum, equivalent to the needs of more than 95,000 UK homes.
