About The Role

Due to growth at enfinium we are looking to expand our finance team and are delighted to be recruiting for the new role of Financial Modelling Analyst.  As Financial Modelling Analyst you will work within the Corporate Development and Treasury Team at enfinium, the Corporate Development & Treasury team is responsible for a range of activities including financial analysis of strategic and commercial issues, appraisal of new investment opportunities, business development support, financial modelling, financing, investor and debt holder relations, loan compliance, treasury operations, investments, risk management and management of key stakeholders.
 
We are looking for someone who can offer support across four main functions please see below a brief overview; 

Financial modelling:

  • Build and maintain financial models
    • enfinium valuation model (quarterly updates for shareholders)
    • lenders’ model (annual updates for lenders)
    • financial models for business cases – whether development/ growth opportunities/ supporting commercial decision making and partnering with the business.
  • Prepare financial analysis in a variety of contexts, including project development, capital markets transactions and M&A activities
  • Prepare, analyse and interpret complex financial information derived from the financial models.

Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to provide insights to the corporate development team
  • Prepare presentations on key market developments, including competitor analysis and summarizing research and market reports.
  • Support in development of growth strategy, including financial and strategic analyses, investment appraisal (principally financial modelling), research and preparation of reporting materials.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the wider finance and other teams (business development, legal and operations) which requires strong communication and knowledge-sharing skills and working across departmental boundaries.
Treasury Support:
  • Be generally available to provide support to the Treasury team on treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, banking and payments, investment management, investor relations, financings, loan compliance, and derivatives/hedging.
What do you need to apply? 
Essentials
  • Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience in corporate development, corporate finance, financial modelling and financial analysis.
  • Solid financial modelling experience, understanding of key drivers, risks and sensitivities in financial modelling.
  • Good understanding of corporate finance concepts, equity and debt financing, cash flow modelling and hedging.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word with ability to develop and share information in an increasingly visual manner to aid senior decision making.
Desirable 
  • Prior experience or knowledge of infrastructure or infrastructure financing and infrastructure modelling is ideal but not essential.
  • Experience and knowledge of energy and off-take markets would be advantageous but not essential.
