  • Ensure all activities uphold Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Make sure the facility operates within its Environmental Permit, planning conditions and duty-of-care requirements.
  • Manage daily reporting with accuracy and resolve queries promptly.
  • Direct vehicle movements in and out of the facility to maintain efficient traffic flow.
  • Work closely with operational and maintenance colleagues to ensure Kelvin runs as a fully integrated, high-performing site.
  • Support the site in meeting its contractual and company targets for safety, waste inputs, vehicle turnaround times and residue outputs.

What we’re looking for

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Solid knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
  • Understanding of waste regulations, duty of care and transfer notes.
  • Strong competency with weighbridge software and confident IT skills, including Excel.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  • Independent, proactive and confident using your initiative.
  • Enthusiastic with strong problem-solving skills.
  • An effective communicator with excellent organisational ability.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and stay calm under pressure.
  • A team player committed to fostering a positive, supportive working culture.
