🔧 What you'll be doing:
As an E,C&I Technician Apprentice, you’ll work with our experienced maintenance team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our high-tech plant systems. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the maintenance of electrical and control systems

Planning and co-ordinating outage and shutdown works
-
Helping investigate technical issues and support root cause analysis

Assisting in the supervision of contractors and review of maintenance tasks

Learning to use our maintenance management system to create and close out work packs

Identifying opportunities to improve system reliability and plant performance
You’ll gain hands-on experience with critical plant infrastructure while working in a real-world operational environment.
📚 What does the apprenticeship involve?

Year 1: Based at CATCH in Stallingborough, you’ll start building your technical knowledge and practical skills. (enfinium covers your travel, accommodation, and uniform.)

Years 2 & 3: You’ll be on-site at Kemsley, developing your expertise alongside experienced technicians and engineers.

Final Assessment: You’ll complete a practical observation, technical interview, and knowledge test. If successful, you’ll be awarded a Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Maintenance and NVQ Level 3 in your chosen discipline (Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical).
By the end of the programme, you’ll be ready to launch your career as a qualified E,C&I Technician — with long-term opportunities across the enfinium group.
