Powering a cleaner future with enfinium
At enfinium, we’re not just generating energy — we’re helping build a more sustainable future. Our plants transform waste that can’t be recycled into electricity, powering thousands of homes and businesses across the UK while reducing landfill and carbon emissions.
We’re now looking for an experienced and motivated Shift Team Leader to lead from the front — ensuring our plant runs safely, smoothly and efficiently, every single day.
What’s the role all about?

Train, coach and develop your team in operational procedures, safety standards and equipment use.
-
Conduct performance reviews and create clear development plans to support growth and succession.
-
Oversee daily plant performance, ensuring operational targets are met and issues resolved quickly.
-
Work collaboratively with engineering and maintenance teams to optimise plant performance.
-
Promote a culture of teamwork, ownership and continuous improvement across your shift.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a practical approach to challenges.
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
-
Calm under pressure and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
-
A commitment to safety, teamwork and operational excellence.
